| 1. | The contestants are to be the family member of a Labor Day Association member. Contestants must contact their union, and the union must acknowledge sponsorship. Each contestant must have a sponsoring union. |
| 2. | There is a limit of four (4) contestants from each Association Union per age group. Previous Junior Miss titleholders are not eligible in the same division. |
| 3. | Each contestant must be at least (9) nine years of age and not more than (11) years of age for the 9-11 age group or at least (12) twelve years of age and not more than (15) years of age for the 12-15 age group on August 31, 2008. |
| 4. | The Entries must be submitted no later than August 4, 2008 |
| 5. | The contest will consist of question, dress, and casual wear competitions. |
| 6. | Contestants will be judged on the basis of their knowledge of unions and Labor Day, personality, poise, stage presence, speaking ability, and beauty. |
| 7. | There will be a Queen, 1st Runner up, and 2nd Runner up in each division. |
| 8. | Any rules, decisions or clarifications will be the responsibility of the Jr. Miss Labor Day - Director. All decisions will be FINAL. |
| 9. | Photos for our Labor Day brochure will be taken on August 4, 2008 (5:30pm) at the Labor Temple, 210 North Fulton Ave., Evansville, Ind. (812 422-2552). If you cannot attend, you will need to provide your "headshot" photo to Warrick Publishing in Boonville, Ind. (812-897-2330) by August 14 on a digital disc. Those without a current photo may contact Warrick Publishing. |
| 10. | There will be a short meeting after the photo session on August 6th. Please bring your personal schedule to the August 6 meeting so we can all agree to the 2 practice meetings we will have. These will be mandatory. |
