| 1. | Contestant must be the Daughter or Granddaughter of a Labor Day Association union member.
Entries MUST be received by August 13, 2008. |
| 2. | Contestant must be between the ages of 5 and 8 by August 31, 2008. |
| 3. | Contestant is required to wear casual sportswear. |
| 4. | Contestant must attend one (1) rehearsal. |
| 5. | Contestant will be judged on appearance, personality, and stage presence. |
| 6. | Little Miss will ride on The Labor Day Association Float during the parade. All other participants are to be in the parade with their sponsoring union. |
| 7. | There is a limit of four (4) entries per local. |
| 8. | Photos for our Labor Day brochure will be taken on August 4, 2008 (5:00pm) at the Labor Temple, 210 North Fulton Ave., Evansville, Ind. (812 422-2552). If you cannot attend, you will need to provide your "headshot" photo to Warrick Publishing in Boonville, Ind. (812-897-2330) by August 14 on a digital disc. Those without a current photo may contact Warrick Publishing. |
Petersburg Ind. is on Eastern Daylight time and will always be 1 hour ahead of Evansville, Ind.
Little Miss Pageant
Saturday, August 30 at the Pike County Fairground Exhibit Hall following the Little Mister Pageant.
~ Prizes ~
Prizes consisting of U.S. Savings Bonds will be awarded to:
" Little Miss", First Runner-up and Second Runner-up
All entries must be received by Monday, August 13, 2008.
No late entries will be accepted.
The contest is limited to the first 25 entries.
