Entry Rules in Petersburg, Indiana

All contestants MUST:
 
1.  Be between 16 and 21 years of age.
2.  Never have been married.
3.  Not be holding any additional beauty contest title at the present time.
4.  Be a relative of a Labor Day Association member AND have a Labor Day Association union sponsor.
5.  Assure entries are received by the pageant coordinator on or before the deadline of of Monday, August 4, 2008.
6.  Attend ALL scheduled rehearsals.
7.  Participate in the determination regarding a swimsuit competition. All participants will vote to determine if a swimsuit category will be included in the pageant. Should the majority of contestants approve a swimsuit category, ALL contestants will be required to select an appropriate one-piece swimsuit for this event.
8.  Agree, if selected as Labor Day Queen 2008, to reign over all events during the course of the 4-day celebration.
9.  Agree to abide by the rules, decisions or clarifications of the Labor Day Association, and consider these final.
10.  Limit of four (4) contestants per Local Union.
11.  Photos for our Labor Day brochure will be taken on August 4, 2008 (6:30 pm) at the Labor Temple, 210 North Fulton Ave., Evansville, Ind. (812-422-2552). If you cannot attend, you will need to provide your "headshot" photo to Warrick Publishing in Boonville, Ind. (812-897-2330) by August 14 on a digital disc. Those without a current photo may contact Warrick Publishing.
12.  THERE WILL BE A SHORT MEETING AFTER THE PHOTO SESSION on August 4th

Petersburg, Ind. Is on Eastern Daylight time and will always be 1 hour ahead of Evansville, Ind.
