1994 Labor Day Association History
D & P Amusements of Newburgh, Indiana will provide Carnival Rides.

The theme for 1994; "Labor Day a National Holiday Centennial".

We will have a 1 hour TV show on Channel 7 featuring the Parade.

Sara Major will sing the National Anthem for the arena events.

We will have the "Hooiser Lottery's" traveling road show over Labor Day Weekend at the Boonville High School Auditorium.

The Warrick County School Board, refused to allow the "Hooiser Lottery Show" to use the Boonville High School Auditorum.

The Warrick County School Board reversed it's decision and we will be able to use the Boonville High School Auditorum for the "Hooiser Lottery's" road show.

There was some controversy over gambling but when the show was being filmed crowds were huge trying to get one of the 900 plus seats in the Auditorum.

Diamond Tees of Evansville, Indiana did the commemorative T-Shirts & the volunteers T-Shirts.

A Motion that any union that is on strike can affilicate in the Labor Day Association for 1 cent per member.

GMP Local # 355 from Tell City and UMWA Local # 4538 of Sullivan, IN are on strike.

Mike & Paula Faries did the Pageant stage.

Mike Faries will do the photos for 1994.

Market & Company of Evansville, Indiana will place all Radio & TV ads for the Celebration.

Labor Day Association Dues are $2.00 per working Member.
