2001 Labor Day Association History

D & P Amusements of Newburgh, Indiana will provide the Carnival Rides.

Julie Shofstaff will be the Labor Day Photographer.

Gene Worthington proytrayed "John L. Lewis" over the 4 days of the Celebration.

He was the 1st speaker on Monday before UMWA Internationl President, Cecil Roberts spoke.

American Advertising of Boonville, Indiana did both the Commemative & Volunteers T-Shirts.

A heavy rain on Friday night wiped out the Demo Derby. The Association upped the prize money for Sunday's Demo Derby to encourage the drivers to come back.

Labor Day Association dues are $2.00 per working member.

The theme was "Union Yes--Organize"
